Argentina vs iran
Sorry for being away. Now I am back and ready to fight for the world cup. Lets start off with the first game tonight...
Argentina would go for the kill after a disappointing game against bosnia. Messi and co would go all out and attack iran from the start till the end. Not giving iran any chance to breathe.
Be it crosses from the flank, attack through the middle, long ball or through pass. I refuse to believe iran can stop argentina.
Having drawn the last game against nigeria, iran now have a point and their gameplan is to defend all the way and wait for a counter attacking chance. Which they will fail miserably.
My pick: argentina -2

Brazil vs Croatia
Brazil
Being the host country, they are out to attack and impress the home crowd. If this world cup they are not able to win it, I do not know when would they win it again. Brazil has a very strong attacking squad but defensively still needs some brushing up. Players like David Luiz, Daniel Alves are all very offensive oriented defenders, hence there would need to be very disciplined to stay behind and defend properly.
With a coach like Scolari, defensive duties would come first. I believe they would do a good job defending.
Croatia
Their star striker, Mandzukic, is banned for this game. This would be a huge blow to Croatia. But with the backup striker of Eduardo, the striking department is still sufficient. Players like Luka Modric will be able to dictate the midfield with his years of experience at Real Madrid. Be very wary Brazil.

Manchester city vs aston villa (analysis)
Manchester city
They need a win to get back to the top of the table. Nothing too fanciful, a 1-0 will do. As world cup is coming, they would not want to risk getting injured and miss out on the world cup, such a prestigious event.
However they are playing at home, so do expect them to be attacking non stop. Just to prove that they are worthy of being Epl champions.
Aston villa
Mid table secured. Nothing to play for. Most of the players are already on holiday mood. Therefore do not expect them to give in their best. However the scoreline would still be decent.
My pick: total goals under 3.5

Aston Villa vs Hull City (Analysis)
The next 2 upcoming matches for Aston Villa would be extremely tough games, Manchester City and Tottenham. In order for them to stay in top flight, this game is a must win for them, draw would not be sufficient. This would definitely be one of the biggest game for Aston Villa. Bet on them to give their very best, expect a different Aston Villa today. The Aston Villa that you have not seen before.
Hull City
FA Cup finalist
With a FA Cup finals upcoming, there is a need for them to conserve energy and prepare for the the finals. Hull City would be more than happy to see this game out as a goalless draw, so that they could focus on FA cup final.
Safe from relegation
With 37 points and 3 games in hand, Hull City is pretty much safe from relegation. Therefore i expect them to go out and fight for a draw in this game, defensive football and hoof the ball upwards.

Chelsea vs Atl Madrid (Analysis)
Chelsea would be without peter cech and john terry. This would spell trouble for them but mark schwarzer have been terrific standing in as the back up keeper.
Diego costa have been rather quiet recently, failing to find the net. Expect him to do so in this game.

Analysis for Arsenal vs Newcastle
Arsenal
Key players back
With Aaron Ramsey and Ozil back, I wouldn't expect anything lesser than a win from arsenal. Goals scoring would be free flowing and Arsenal would be winning no lesser than 3 goals. However I expect a leaky defence due to Vermaelan back in the line up.
Must win game
This win would more or less secure the 4th place, the last slot for Champions League. Expect Arsenal to go all out in this game and boost some confidence before FA Cup finals.
Newcastle
Poor form
Lost 5 in previous 5 games. With absolutely nothing to play for, they might just be going through the motion for this game. They have conceded 14 goals in the previous 5 games, surely Arsenal can capitalise on this.
My pick: Arsenal over 3.5

Analysis for liverpool vs chelsea
Highly motivated
Winning this game would more or less ensure them to be champions. With the likes of sterling, suarez and sturridge. Its going to be a high scoring game.
Home advantage
The least they would fight for would be a draw. This is the bare minimum standard set for them. If they win this match, wouldnt EPL be boring in the remaining matches?
Chelsea
Park bus tactic
Once again, mourinho will do the stupid park bus tactics. Totally negative football, which was successful against alt madrid. But once a goal is conceded, the floodgates would be open.
My pick: Total goals over 3

Analysis for Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich
Real Madrid
- Improvement under Ancelotti
- The team had improved tremendously under Ancelotti as compared to last season. Just look at how the team plays, especially Gareth Bale whom scored a spectacular goal in the Spanish Cup against Barcelona. This Real Madrid will prove plenty pundits wrong this time round.
- Hunger 10th CL cup
- This current team have the hunger to go far and strive for the best. Winning the 10th CL cup would be the target for Real Madrid, considering they are now a little bit off the top of Spanish La Liga. Winning the Champions League would be the most realistic target for them right now.
- Almost full squad
- Real Madrid might be without Cristiano Ronaldo due to a flu. But I feel this game is too important for him to be out. He would be the key factor to Real Madrid winning this leg.
- Over zealous Robben
- As we know, Robben is a downright selfish player going for personal glory. So I believe he would be hogging onto the ball and going for shots even it is an impossible angle. Real Madrid defenders are no pushover, they would block out all shots from him and not give him space.
- Lousy defence
- Bayern Munich's defence are somewhat ok, but not top quality as compared to Real Madrid's. Looking at previous games, Manchester Utd managed to score 1 goal each leg in the quarter finals. Dortmund managed to win 0-3 at Bayern Munich's home, tearing their defence apart.
- They are particularly weak against high balls, as seen in Man Utd vs Bayern Munich tie. So expect them to leak goals in this leg.
