QPR vs Aston Villa

This is definitely a relegation battle. With QPR sitting at the bottom of the table with 4 points, this game is a must win for QPR. They could have a good start from here by securing a win against Villa. QPR supporters would be expecting the most from them, after a disappointing 2-3 against Liverpool last week. With a last minute own goal, they were absolutely robbed off their precious points. Even though they might want to win, they might not have the ability to do so due to their weak defence. Their defence is totally rubbish. I expect goals to leak in this game.

Villa is at 15th place with 10 points, which is not very far off from the relegation zone. Villa defender Delph is out. However, Senderos and Benteke would be back for the Villa. I believe Benteke is out to impress, probably with a few goals or chances to prove his worth.

My pick: Total Goals over 2.5

Argentina vs iran

Sorry for being away. Now I am back and ready to fight for the world cup. Lets start off with the first game tonight...

Argentina would go for the kill after a disappointing game against bosnia. Messi and co would go all out and attack iran from the start till the end. Not giving iran any chance to breathe.

Be it crosses from the flank, attack through the middle, long ball or through pass. I refuse to believe iran can stop argentina.

Having drawn the last game against nigeria, iran now have a point and their gameplan is to defend all the way and wait for a counter attacking chance. Which they will fail miserably.

My pick: argentina -2

Brazil vs Croatia

Finally its time for the WORLD CUP. Lets get on with the first match!

Brazil

Being the host country, they are out to attack and impress the home crowd. If this world cup they are not able to win it, I do not know when would they win it again. Brazil has a very strong attacking squad but defensively still needs some brushing up. Players like David Luiz, Daniel Alves are all very offensive oriented defenders, hence there would need to be very disciplined to stay behind and defend properly.

With a coach like Scolari, defensive duties would come first. I believe they would do a good job defending.

Croatia

Their star striker, Mandzukic, is banned for this game. This would be a huge blow to Croatia. But with the backup striker of Eduardo, the striking department is still sufficient. Players like Luka Modric will be able to dictate the midfield with his years of experience at Real Madrid. Be very wary Brazil.

My pick: Brazil under 2.5

Manchester city vs aston villa (analysis)

Manchester city

They need a win  to get back to the top of the table. Nothing too fanciful, a 1-0 will do. As world cup is coming, they would not want to risk getting injured and miss out on the world cup, such a prestigious event.

However they are playing at home, so do expect them to be attacking non stop. Just to prove that they are worthy of being Epl champions.

Aston villa

Mid table secured. Nothing to play for. Most of the players are already on holiday mood. Therefore do not expect them to give in their best. However the scoreline would still be decent.

My pick: total goals under 3.5

Manchester Utd vs Hull City (Analysis)

Manchester Utd

Europa League qualification
They are now with 60 points, with 2 games on hand with a better goal difference than Tottenham. Tottenham currently has 66 points but only left with a final game. Therefore there is still a glimpse of hope for them to qualify for Europe. Even though it is small, I believe Ryan Giggs would still push on for the win.

Embarrassed by Sunderland
They were humiliated by Sunderland in the previous game, failing to score any goal despite the domination of possession. This home would be a good time for them to pick themselves up and show the quality of the squad. Ryan Giggs would also need to prove to others that he is no David Moyes and his managing would be way better than Moyes,

Last home game
This would be the last home game for Manchester Utd, therefore expect them to put up a good show for all the supporters out there.

Hull City

Safe from relegation
They are at 15th place with 37 points, totally safe from relegation. They still have an upcoming FA Cup final against Arsenal, therefore this is a good time for them to practise formation and test which formation is effective against a top attacking team. Expect them to leak in a few goals.

My pick: Manchester Utd -1.5

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool (Analysis)

Crystal Palace

Full squad available
Crystal Palace would be able to have the full squad at their disposal, with Dikgacoi coming back for training. Crystal Palace has been playing very good football since the change of manager. Do expect them to hold the defence tight.

Nothing to fight for
Crystal Palace have absolutely nothing to fight for in this game. Being in 11th place, no Europe qualification, no nothing. Just putting up a good show for the supporters.

Liverpool

Do or die
Lose this game and it would be a goodbye to their title race. They are on level terms with Manchester City but losing out on goal difference. They would need to thrash Crystal Palace in order to catch up with the goal difference.

Attacking options
Brendon Rogers would have Sturridge, Coutinho, Suarez and Sterling available. These 4 players could tear the Crystal Palace defense apart. Expect goals galore.

My pick: Liverpool over 3
